Arusha

Arusha, located at the foot of the magnificent Mount Meru, is known as the safari capital of Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit or a stopover for hiking Mt Kilimanjaro. It's an energetic small town with an interesting mix of old colonial buildings, and modern conveniences such as first-class restaurants, vivid bars and diverse markets for lovers of street shopping. Besides Arusha’s rural charm is intensified by numerous pleasing coffee plantations that surround the town, many of them dating back to colonial times.
